Miss Caitlin has been dancing since she was 3 years old where she trained at the Lisa Marie School Of Dance in York. From the age of 12 Caitlin started to help assist with younger classes and went on to choreograph numerous solos and groups which were successful in competing nationally. At 16 she then went onto to train at the Italia Conti Arts Centre where she became Head Girl and completed her DDE ISTD in Tap, Ballet and Modern as well as receiving a level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre.
After graduating, Miss Caitlin went on to do a season at Chessington World of Adventures Resort where she was a dancer as part of the Gruffalo show. Whilst performing she went on to teach at numerous dance studios in Surrey where her passion for teaching continued to ignite. Most notably she took inspiration for her Pre School classes from the highly successful 'Twinkle Toes' where she was mentored by the brilliant CL.
Spotting a gap in the market she moved back to her hometown to set up 'Generation Dance' in 2019 and from there the school has continued to successfully grow.
Miss Caitlin is now continuing her growth as a tutor and teacher undertaking her next IDTA Teaching exams. Recently achieving 96 Marks in her Licentiate Ballet exam she hopes to now continue up to Fellowship level.
“Miss Gaby started dancing at the age of 2 in baby ballet class, and later started taking tap and hip-hop classes. She spent the majority of her time dancing at Ripon Dance Academy and started assisting with younger children at the age of 14, and continued teaching and choreographing routines to compete in dance festivals all over Yorkshire. Miss Gaby has recently graduated from Renaissance Arts Conservatoire and hopes to continue with her passion for teaching.”
Miss Gaby is very passionate about the progress of our students and really cares about their dancing journey. We are so excited to have her as part of our teaching team!
'I'm Emily and I have been dancing since I was 4 years old - I did ballet and tap. I moved to Generation Dance when I was 10 years old and started Modern, then Dance Company, then Acro. Now I help out with the younger classes. I am really enjoying this, joining in and seeing them all get more confident in dancing is amazing. I really love
