Inspiring the next Generation of dancers

Our 2026 annual show, Lights, Camera, Dance!, at the Royal Hall was an unforgettable celebration of everything Generation Dance is about. Seeing our dancers take to the stage with such confidence, passion and joy was incredibly special, and the support they showed one another backstage made us so proud.

A huge thank you to our wonderful team of chaperones, teachers and volunteers whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the day ran seamlessly. We are also so grateful to Cathryn for creating another incredible collection of costumes that helped bring every performance to life.

To every performer, thank you for your dedication, commitment and enthusiasm throughout the year. You truly lit up the stage and should be immensely proud of what you achieved.

Finally, thank you to all of our parents, families and friends for your ongoing encouragement and support. We couldn't do it without you, and we hope you enjoyed watching another spectacular Generation Dance production. Here's to another fantastic year ahead!

This year has been another incredible one for the Generation Dance Competition Team, and we couldn't be prouder of everything our dancers have achieved.

Throughout the season, our teams and soloists have represented Generation Dance with professionalism, determination and outstanding teamwork. Whether bringing home trophies, achieving personal bests or simply growing in confidence with every performance, every dancer has played an important part in our success.

A special congratulations goes to our dancers who received Adjudicator's Nominations this year: Bella, Alice, Lois, Nola, Florence and Eliza. To be recognised by independent adjudicators is a fantastic achievement and reflects not only their talent, but also their dedication, hard work and commitment throughout the year.

One of the things we are most proud of is the supportive environment our Competition Team has created. Every dancer encourages one another, celebrates each other's successes and works together to be the very best they can be. Their kindness, sportsmanship and team spirit are just as important to us as the results themselves.

To all of our competition dancers and their families, thank you for your commitment, countless hours of rehearsals, early mornings, weekends away and unwavering support. We can't wait to see what next season has in store as our team continues to grow and achieve even more together.

This year marked one of the proudest moments in Generation Dance history as three of our dancers qualified to represent Team England at the Dance World Cup in Dublin.

The Dance World Cup is one of the largest and most prestigious international dance competitions in the world, bringing together thousands of talented dancers from across the globe. Simply qualifying to compete is an incredible achievement, requiring exceptional dedication, commitment and perseverance.

To see our dancers perform on the world stage, wearing the Team England colours, was an unforgettable experience and a testament to the hard work they have put in over many years. Their passion, resilience and determination have inspired everyone at Generation Dance, and we could not be prouder of everything they have accomplished.

Congratulations to our Dance World Cup representatives—you have made your Generation Dance family incredibly proud and shown that with hard work, ambition and belief, extraordinary things are possible.
